Supporting our Early Childhood workers

Roughly one in four children ages birth to 5 years are in childcare. There are also a significant number of children from 6 to 12 in childcare for before and after school services. These children are cared for by workers who are there to support the health and well-being of our youth. But they are poorly paid and now are seeing increasing demands for professional development, ranging from certificates to college degrees, with no possibility of increased wages.
